Ingredients

2 cups dried farfalle pasta

60ml (1/4 cup) extra virgin olive oil

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1 cup pretzels

80g (1/2 cup) raw macadamias

80g (1/2 cup) raw cashews

1 cup Kellog’s Nutri-grain cereal

1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

Step 1

Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water until just tender. Drain well. Transfer to a tray. Pat dry with paper towel. Transfer to a large bowl.

Step 2

Combine oil, sugar, paprika, onion, garlic and chilli powders in a small bowl. Spoon half of the mixture over pasta. Toss to coat.

Step 3

Preheat air fryer on 200C. Place pasta in air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes. Shake basket. Cook for a further 5-6 minutes or until golden and crisp. Transfer to a large bowl.

Step 4

Place pretzels and nuts in a bowl. Add remaining spice mixture. Toss to coat. Place in air fryer basket. Cook on 180C for 3 minutes. Shake basket. Cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until golden. Add to pasta, then add cereal. Sprinkle with salt. Toss to combine. Cool completely. Serve.
