Prep Time: 10 min Cook Time: 10 min Total Time: 380 min
Ingredients
2 cups pancake and waffle mix (such as Bisquick) + ingredients needed on box
8 tablespoons bacon jam
16 breaded, boneless chicken wings or nuggets (frozen, fully cooked)
1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Prepare pancake and waffle mix according to package directions. Make sure you are following the specific instructions for waffles.
Heat a waffle bite maker and cook mini waffles until golden brown – you will need 32 mini waffles in total. (See note below if you don't have a mini waffle maker.)
Remove the waffles from the waffle maker and separate them into small circles, placing them on a large serving plate.
Spread about 1 & 1/2 teaspoons of bacon jam over 16 of the mini waffles.
Heat the chicken as directed on the package – I prefer to use the air fryer method which cooks them fast and crispy! However you can use whichever method you prefer, just be sure they are heated to 165F in the middle.
Place a heated chicken wing on top of the jam on one mini waffle and top with another mini-waffle, without jam.
Use a cocktail pick or long toothpick to push through and keep the slider together.
Repeat with all remaining chicken and waffles.
Just before serving, pour the maple syrup evenly over all the sliders, making sure to get some in the waffle holes on the top.
